Smile yesterday we (the family) visited national trust Mottisfont in Hampshire.
I can't walk far with my sore foot and flare up..........my sweet husband got me a wheelchair from national trust knowing it would take forever to wait for me to shuffle along!

Mottisfont had a lot of outside space to have a bimble around. The walled gardens was beautiful to have a wonder around, the flowers doing well - not quite full bloom, stunning cottage like!

There was a stream and river with plenty of ducks to feed!

We had lunch there not cheap but a treat...........
They had an icecream parlour - we didn't try anything because it started rainin.

I didn't go in the house, I was parked up outside with husband walking sock keeping my bandage dry from the rain, and my daughter pink monkey shoved on my lap for safe keeping! I looked a sight......but had a lovely day out! So grateful the national trust had wheelchairs to help people out.

We shall visit again soon once I have my medication sorted out to sort the fiare up out.

Hi Jane - the National Trust are really good at these things - very inclusive I think! I bought my sticks at their shop and they are a godsend for me - they are normal hiking poles but they help to ease the load on my feet and knees and so I walk further and faster than without them.

I hope you enjoy lots more outings this summer, preferably without the rain!

LOL hiya!
We off to another national trust at the weekend, I hope I can get around on sticks and feet........my husband likes to think the wheel chair is a racing car!
I just love seeing how people lived in their beautiful homes with the history and their family bits and pieces.
Imagine u or I having sweeping driveways and acres of land!
I find it peaceful and relaxing.

Take care
Exhausting day
Jane
